Kimberly Ann Thomas is a distinguished law professor at the University of Michigan Law School. She directs the Juvenile Justice Clinic, which advocates for low-income Michiganders and teaches students about the ethical practice of law. Her experience, commitment to justice, and honesty will make her an important voice on the Michigan Supreme Court.
Kimberly was a member of the Michigan Task Force on Juvenile Justice Reform and is a Fulbright Scholar from the United States, teaching at University College Cork in Ireland. She has also collaborated internationally with the American Bar Association to strengthen legal education in Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey.
Kimberly has a law degree from Harvard Law School and resides in Washtenaw County with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she helps at her children's schools and likes visiting Michigan's parks with her family.
