Running for: General Assembly District 11 Representative
Margie Donlon, M.D., is running for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly in the 11th Legislative District. She made history in November 2023 by becoming the first female physician elected to the Assembly. As a board-certified specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, she brings invaluable healthcare insight to her role on the Assembly Health Committee and the Tourism, Gaming & Arts Committee. Margie has prioritized delivering results for local families, seniors, and veterans through bipartisan initiatives and smart policy.
Raised with a passion for service and community, Margie holds a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College, a Master’s in Public Health from Yale, and a medical degree from the University of Rochester. An avid surfer, she is an active volunteer with the Surfers Environmental Alliance and the Best Day Foundation, teaching adaptive surfing to kids with disabilities. Dr. Donlon resides in Ocean Township with her husband, Ron, and her two daughters, Amalia and Vera.
