Re-Elect
Jaime is a longtime resident of Downriver with deep roots in the area and a personal commitment to its growth and prosperity. She is running for re-election in Michigan's House District 27.
Jaime has a background in education, teaching 5th grade for 11 years and serving as her union's vice president. Her knowledge and experience in labor matters, education policies, and infrastructure have made her a valuable asset in Lansing. In her first term in the State House, Jaime contributed significantly to critical issues facing the state. Serving on notable committees such as labor, ethics, energy, elections, and education, she has shown an ability to navigate complex matters and advocate for positive change.
During her time in office, Representative Churches helped pass legislation to improve public safety and roadways, support workers, and protect the environment. If re-elected, Jaime plans to continue prioritizing the needs of her community by working to improve public infrastructure, education, and healthcare and invest in the local economy.
