And she wants a seat at the table to determine the policies that affect the lives of her children and all the families in her community. Sara knows how important it is for families to have access to good healthcare, education, jobs, housing and transportation. As the state representative for the 27th district, she will advocate for her community like she advocates for her own children.

Juanita founded Social Society Cleveland, a nonprofit professional networking organization, and she is a former member of the board of trustees for the Health Care Service Corporation, the largest customer-owned health insurer in the country. Through her experience on the board of trustees and as a member of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Women’s Caucus, Juanita knows the importance of providing women and families with access to affordable, quality health care. She is running for re-election to continue building and organizing strong communities in Columbus.

Judge Myron C. Duhart is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He is the proud father of three and he has been married to his wife Nicole for 22 years. After graduating from St. Francis De Sales High School, Myron enlisted in the U.S. Army and was later commissioned as a lieutenant in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps, through which he served in Missouri, Virginia and the Republic of Panama. While serving his country, Myron earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wright State University Dayton, Ohio, and went received his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. In 2011, Judge Duhart was appointed to replace Judge Charles Doneghy as one of ten judges who serve on the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas bench. He has been recognized by the NAACP for community service and by the African American Legacy Project of Northwest Ohio as an “Emerging Leader.” Myron is looking forward to serving his community in the 6th District Court of Appeals.

Now, she is working as a lead physician in the Westerville Primary Care Center and she is a professor at The Ohio State University, where she teaches in the medical school.
