Mary was a practicing attorney for five years in Macomb County, Michigan, where she had a general practice specializing in Criminal Defense, Divorce and Juvenile Law. In 1992, she became the first woman elected to be a Macomb County Circuit Court Judge. She was continuously re-elected for 4 consecutive terms, and retired in June of 2016. Retired Judge Mary Chrzanowski continues to reside in Macomb County, Michigan. She is bicycle enthusiast who is at her best when cycling down Haleakala, a volcano in Maui, Hawaii. As a judge, Mary developed a no nonsense approach, and she is ready to bring that experience back to Macomb County as “The People’s Prosecutor.”
