Peter Hubbard is running for Georgia Pubic Service Commission focusing on lowering power bills and building a clean, reliable energy future for Georgia. He has 13 years of experience in the energy sector, developing electric utility Integrated Resource Plans (IRP), running electricity models, natural gas models, performing organized market analysis in North America, global gas market analysis, commodity price projections, risk analysis, capacity expansion & production cost modeling, and new technology assessments.

In 2019, Peter Hubbard founded the nonprofit Georgia Center for Energy Solutions to fight for clean energy and lower power bills.  He also works for a solar developer, building grid-scale solar and energy storage systems in states less hostile to renewable energy, such as Texas and Los Angeles. He earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Memphis, holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in International Affairs. Hubbard lives in the Edgewood neighborhood in Atlanta with his wife, and two children.
